ERLANGER, Kentucky (August 3, 2021) – IPS Logistix proudly announced the completion of their West Coast expansion of its newest fulfillment center this week, in a move that showcases significant global-market investment in the booming area of e-commerce. As a result, IPS Logistix is in a firm position to accommodate 3PL selling platforms for international markets.
Over 8,000 sq. ft. fulfillment center, located outside of Los Angeles in Commerce, California, will be operational in Q3 2021 at the earliest.
Located right in the heart of the Los Angeles industrial zone, this marks the addition of a third facility to support the robust expansion of fulfillment capabilities, including value-added services such as kitting, specialized packaging, and returns processing.
“We are excited to be expanding our presence to the West Coast less than one year after opening our meaningful East Coast operations,” said Whitney Lyell, Vice President of Operations at IPS Logistix. “These expansion investments are advancing our international & interconnected e-commence strategy, which allows our clients the ability to engage and grow with us.”
With a competitive advantage of two-day ground coverage to over 80% of US zip codes, this global, multi-client operation will form another powerful strategic gateway for an even more seamless, end-to-end fulfillment experience for international and domestic clients.
This first expansion of 2021 comes fast on the heels of the East Coast expansion in Fords, New Jersey, and Port of CVG expansion in Erlanger, Kentucky, which was completed in 2020. These key additions to IPS Logistix expand their domestic and global market footprint. All strategically located near major transportation hubs and gateways for reduced transit times and lower shipping costs, this exciting new phase of IPS Logistix’s growth is designed to meet escalating demands for warehouse, fulfillment, and logistic services.
