The Holiday Mad Dash

If you’re wondering how much time you have left to send gifts this holiday season, here are the latest estimates from major retailers and shipping companies.

Like last year, the COVID-19 pandemic has severely disrupted the supply chain as well as package deliveries. And many consumers started their holiday shopping extra early, putting even more pressure on companies struggling to get packages delivered on time.

According to Deloitte’s 2021 holiday retail survey, 39 percent of shoppers are buying gifts early, with 62 percent saying they’ll shop online. All this means that retailers and shipping companies will have their hands full.

Some companies are still formulating their delivery schedules, so we’ll update this article as soon as we have new information. You can bookmark this article and check back later.

To make sure your gifts arrive on time, review the retailer’s expected delivery windows before you make your purchase. If standard delivery won’t work, some stores offer expedited shipping options for a fee.
